GBCA Head Start Food and Nutrition Department encourages families to taste new foods that are not only delicious but can add nutritional value to their diets. Parents are invited to submit recipes that are adapted to meet guidelines and then shared with our students, staff and other Head Start families. See our on staff dietitian's healthy take on the southern bale of beans recipe submitted by one of our Head Start Parents. This recipe would be a great side dish to oven baked chicken.
