Greater Bergen Community Action, Inc. intends to prequalify Weatherization Assistance Program Services Contractors in a “Qualified Contractor Pool” to perform services under the BIL SERC Funding Energy Conservation Projects-Install of Heat Pump domestic hot water storage tanks and Mini Splits installations FY 2024-2025 Grants.
Sealed proposals will be received by Greater Bergen Community Action, Inc. at 294 Union St. Hackensack, NJ 07601 on October 21, 2024 at 11:00 am, prevailing time and at that time publicly opened and reviewed for proper delivery of services in Bergen County.
The Bid Documents and Specifications are on file and may be examined and obtained at 294 Union St. Hackensack, NJ, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Documents WILL NOT be mailed. No bid will be received by mail, and all bids shall be submitted on the bid form furnished by Greater Bergen Community Action, Inc. To receive the Bid Package via email an official written request must be sent to: Jessica.Martinez@greaterbergen.org
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of Greater Bergen Community Action, Inc.
This bid package "ENERGY CONSERVATION BIL SERC FUNDING PROJECT 2024-2025 RFQ" is strictly for HVAC CONTRACTORS for Heat Pump domestic hot water storage tanks, and Mini Split installations. This bid package is for a period of one year.
Greater Bergen Community Action, Inc. reserves the right to reject any of all bids and reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids and to accept the bid and award the contract to the bidder which, in its best judgement, best serves the interest of Greater Bergen Community Action, Inc.
The bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, properly endorsed with the name of the bidder, with the destination, “ENERGY CONSERVATION BIL SERC FUNDING PROJECT 2024-2025 RFQ” and hand delivered to Greater Bergen Community Action, Inc. Weatherization Assistance Program, 294 Union St. Hackensack, NJ 07601.
Buy American is strongly encouraged. Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage is only required for five or more units in one multifamily building.
Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of NJSA 10:2-1 through 10:2-4 and Public Law 1975 c.127 dealing with discrimination in employment on public contract.
Minority contractors encouraged to bid. Women owned and minority business enterprises will be offered full opportunity to bid and will not be subject to discrimination on the base of race, color, gender, or national origin in consideration of award.
