ABOUT ServeSafe® MANAGERS

Anyone working in the food service industry can elevate their value to an employer, be a more attractive job candidate--and might even earn a higher salary--when ServSafe-certified.

 

This nationally-recognized course certifies that the employee knows food safety procedures, is aware of the critical points in the workflow where food can be compromised, and understands how to prevent such occurrences.

WORKING IN:
WHAT TO EXPECT

During our one-day course, our Certified ServSafe Proctors will teach you:

  • Basic Food Safety

  • Personal Hygiene

  • Cross-contamination and allergens

  • Time and temperature

  • Cleaning and sanitation

The test is computer-based.

You will receive the ServSafe book to keep.

  • $175: course, test and book

  • $100: test only (those who score 75% or higher receive their ServSafe certificate)

  • 9:00am-3:00 pm: Class   3:00pm-5:00 pm: Test

  • Future classes will be scheduled

  1. Call 973-685-0005 ext. 7150 to make an appointment to register.

  2. Attend the course

  3. Take the test the same day, and if you pass, receive your certificate, which is valid for five years.
